|爪哇||铜鎏金||随着佛教的南传，东南亚各地接收佛教的信仰，将具有印度色彩的佛教艺术与当地文化结合，进而产生各地独具风格的雕塑艺术。而为佛教创始人的释迦牟尼佛更是最主要的题材之一，此件造像脸颊略为丰腴，顶上肉髻鲜明，弯眉上的白毫突出，五官雕塑手法带有当地色彩。身着袒右肩佛衣，薄衣贴体，是印度风格的展现。左手托钵，结跏跌坐于束腰莲坐之上。整体线条相当简洁，但是细节处却反而处理的十分精细，在佛像双脚交迭之处，带有细腻的刻画，这种强调细节的处理，亦是爪哇风格的一种。
