款识：钰珊世讲雅嘱 慎之杨思。 钤印：杨思之印 杨 思（1882-1956），著名书法家。社会活动家。诗人。学者。字慎之。甘肃会宁人。幼随父读书，连中秀才、举人。光绪癸卯（1903）进士，殿试点翰林。1906 年赴日本留学。1913年任甘肃省议会副议长。1922年任兰山道尹。二十五年任国民党甘肃党部负责人。同年任代省长。1931年任省民政厅厅长。后任甘肃省政协副主席等职。杨思工诗能文。他曾任《甘肃通志》纂总办，完成了《甘肃通志》130 卷。他的诗《游华山》曾得到毛泽东的称赞:“不愧出自翰林之手。”工书，尤善楷行书。时评云:“笔力透纸，功夫遒劲。”“飘逸潇洒，有赵王韵。”他的此件行书条幅写得秀健飘逸，妍丽蕴藉，具有二王妍逸的气韵。
