A Chinese large soapstone stele of Guanyin, late Qing Dynasty or Republic, seated on a lion, with two attendant Bodhisattvas flanking the central figure standing on lotus flowers, 59.5cm high x 26cm wide x 12.5cm deep Provenance: Purchased by the late J.B. da Silva (1918-2003) at Phillips on 10th September, 2nd October 1991 for £105.00, (lot number not recorded) and then by family descent.
