A rare South Staffordshire enamel rosebud bonbonniere, unmarked, circa 1770, painted in pink enamel, the sepals in two tones of green, 5cm (2in) high Condition Report: There are small crazing cracks to the enamel, there is an area by the lip towards the front where the enamel has been patched, with yellowed paint to the interior covering a chip, there is another slightly lumpy patch to the lip by the hinge, but not further noticeable paint to the interior.
