簡介：饒宗頤（1917-2018）生於廣東潮安，祖籍廣東潮州，字固庵、伯濂、伯子，號選堂，是享譽海內外的學界泰斗和書畫大師。他在傳統經史研究、考古、宗教、哲學、藝術、文獻以及近東文科等多個學科領域均有重要貢獻，在當代國際漢學界享有崇高聲望。中國學術界曾先後將其與錢鐘書、季羨林並列，稱之為“南饒北錢”和“南饒北季”。曾任香港中文大學中文系榮休講座教授、藝術系偉倫講座教授以及中國文化研究所顧問，香港大學、北京大學、南京大學等校名譽教授 。
