台灣收藏家舊藏 黃銅質環耳瓶，高二吋，撇口長頸鼓腹，頸部左右各飾一環型耳連環，底平足；旁一童子高吋許，張腿倚坐於瓶側，左手持葫蘆右手抱瓶，以為裝飾。依尺寸與器型判斷，此器可為香道具中的香瓶或香插使用。 在明朝，品香是讀書人重要的藝文活動，會在家中特別規劃品香專用的空間，稱為「香室」，在香室內點上一爐清香，有助修道念佛與禪定。或邀請好友品香習靜，稱為「香席」。清朝則流行成套的香具，爐、瓶、盒的組合稱為「爐瓶三事」，是焚香必備之物。而不同於香爐承載的香材種類多樣，香插是為燃燒線香而設計的，更為小巧精緻。本件銅質文玩外層呈包漿之古銅色，造型端莊典雅，而童子則帶一絲喜氣，親近可人。
