支慈庵，名谦，字南村，当代著名竹刻艺术大师，江苏吴县（今苏州）人，生于1904年，幼年即喜爱篆刻，后又学刻竹，长期寄居上海，20世纪30年代刻竹已崭露头角。 吴子深，原名华源，初字渔邨，后字子琛，号桃坞居士，江苏苏州人，曾赴日本考察美术。家为吴中望族，收藏宋元古画甚富。曾以巨资创建苏州美术专科学校于沧浪亭畔，自任校董及教授。
