摆件取上好竹根为材，圆雕蛮人骑献宝之景，瑞兽抬头仰望，扭首摆尾，形象生动，憨态可爱；背上驮有二人，对视顾盼。人物均为方圆脸，高鼻大眼，穿戴均为胡人装，身着窄袖圆领长袍，脚穿靴，腰系带，是典型的西域人形象。其中年少者戴缠头高帽，双手高擎一罇瓶，内置灵芝、鹿角及雀翎众宝物；年长者卷发披肩，手持一柄如意；二人表情生动夸张，颇为灵动。此题材多见于明清雕刻中，在与西域、南海诸国的交往中，官方的进贡、馈赠及民间交易统称献宝，反映了国与国之间的友好往来。本品雕刻技艺娴熟，表现细部的阴刻线率意奔放，自然流畅，具有很高的艺术价值。参考：故宫博物院藏清乾隆蛮人献宝图来源：原巴黎私人藏家珍藏
