本品细长颈，溜肩，腹部浑圆，腹下渐收至圈足。圈足露胎，胎坚质细，通体满施炉钧釉，釉面匀净润泽，釉水流淌自然，釉色斑斓交织，别具意蕴。清代炉钧釉最成功的作品，为乾隆时期，即蜕变为蓝、绿、月白交织的釉色，本品即为此釉色。胆式瓶属于陈设用瓷，一般用于插花。该器形创烧于宋代，当时钧窑、哥窑、官窑均有烧造。宋代著名诗人杨万里有诗云：“胆样银瓶玉样梅，北枝折得未全开。为冷落寞空山里，唤入诗人几案来”。此器型炉钧釉瓶存世稀少，同类器多作粉青、青花、红蓝釉，而本品尺寸炉钧釉器甚为少见。来源：原国营文物商店旧藏
