本品敛口、扁腹、平底、底呈三乳足、内施白釉、外壁施茶叶末釉。腹部饱满，弧线优美，器型精美，釉色莹润。茶叶末釉起源于唐代黑釉，初似为烧黑釉瓷过火而出现的特殊品种，并非有烧造。明御器厂所产茶 叶末釉，釉色黄润，带黑色或黑褐色斑点，似鳝于鱼皮色，称“鳝鱼黄”。清代茶叶末釉制品多为景德镇官窑所烧，传世品中，以雍正和乾隆时期最为多见，并以乾隆时的烧制最为成功。雍正时制品多偏黄，有茶无末，称“鳝鱼皮”；乾隆时则茶末兼有，
