盖盒以白玉整挖而成，呈花瓣造型，玉质莹润。盒盖雕 花卉纹，有花朵样式钮，外壁雕卷草花卉纹，与盒盖对 应，下承盛开花朵样式底足，精琢花瓣纹饰。整器雕刻 精美，胎壁薄如素纱，晶莹剔透，雕琢手法展示了其工 艺高超精良与细致。痕都斯坦玉素有“西昆玉工巧无比， 水磨磨玉薄如纸”之说。自乾隆33年至嘉庆22年间 大量输入清廷，备受帝王赞赏，其中有进贡者，亦有清 廷购买者。乾隆皇帝甚或命造办处如意馆仿制，被称为 「西番作」。此器造型精巧，工艺高超，实为此类精品。
