|说明：本品紫砂为胎，外壁施满釉，底部露胎，砂质细腻。此类器型以瓷器同品中借鉴而来，唇口、短颈、鼓腹、圈足。颈部两侧贴二象耳，象音通“祥”，寓意吉祥。底书“葛明祥造”款。|葛明祥，1955年出生于宜兴丁山陶业世家，家庭成分为窑户。初为一技术精湛的牙医，1986年起对紫砂泥进行了全面研究，而后转行进入陶艺领域。在紫砂热潮中，首配成功了最精细的朱泥与天青色泥，在台湾岛竖起了一块名牌：祥陶。1995年起，把全部时间和精力投入到了艺术陶的探索研究之中，同时涉足书画艺术的品悟，领略到了更多的陶艺精髓。经过多年的努力，在付出巨大代价之后获得了形、釉、火的综合陶艺成就，被誉为“土的技术、釉的艺术、火的魔术”。
