【题识】戊申胡兰成谨写。 【钤印】胡兰成 【释文】摩诃般若波罗蜜多心经。 【作者简介】 胡兰成（1906～1981），中国现代作家，原名胡积蕊，小名蕊生，浙江嵊县人，张爱玲的第一任丈夫。1945年日军战败投降，胡兰成借道香港逃亡日本，晚年旅居台湾开课教书，其文学才能曾影响部分台湾文人。代表作有《今生今世》、《山河岁月》、《禅是一枝花》、《中国文学史话》、《今日何日兮》等。 【按语】 胡兰成因其争议性与复杂性，两岸官方都未曾予以定论。时至今日，他的文章和治学方式逐渐受到学界关注。同时，他的书法亦是别具一格——师承周承德，溯至康有为。其书与文相通，有天马行空，飘如游云之势，极爱他的书法的人很多，如川端康成、福田赳夫等等。胡兰成流传于市的真迹不多，此幅般若波罗蜜多心经可作为其书法的标准件之一。
