题识：马克昌(1926-2011)，河南西华县红花集镇人，著名法学教授、博导，法学家，新中国刑法学开拓者和奠基人之一。1950年毕业于武汉大学法律系，后入中国人民大学法律系研究生班，师从前苏联刑法学家贝斯特洛娃教授专门从事刑法学研究。1952年返回武汉大学任教。参加过1997年《中华人民共和国刑法》的修订工作。曾任武汉大学法学院教授、博士生导师，兼任中国法学会刑法学研究会名誉会长、中国法学会董必武法学思想研究会副会长、最高人民法院特邀咨询员。与人大高铭暄教授合称为我国刑法学界的“北高南马”。
