Measurements: 16.125in x9.75in x 9.75in Chinese Qing Dynasty period, tea dust glazed porcelain reward vase. Potted in reward shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with thick wide flaring mouth rim, emerge four buffalo head flanked on the shoulder, each part borderer with single thick ring lines, raised on a short small round foot base with slight concave. Covered overall in pale green under glazed with densely dusted , with attractive green pale toward upper rim on a green pale porcelain body with golden-yellow pickles pattern covered all the vase. The Iridescent Green pale, gilt splashes and streaks characteristic of this glaze are described as yao bian, or transmutation glaze and resulting from transmutation of colloidal copper, iron, or other metallic materials into suffusions breaking up the glaze surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on base, an embossed six seal script Zhuanshu characters reign mark, Made In The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
