|如意，又称“搔杖”，本为汉族古时用以挠痒痒的工具，因挠痒痒后颇合人心意，因为得名“如意”。其最早出现于战国时，后因与佛教梵语称“阿娜律”的佛具结合，而逐渐成为一种礼仪器和观赏器。清代宫廷十分爱好如意的吉祥寓意，因此常常陈设如意，或以如意赏赐王公大臣。此件金花丝镶嵌百宝福寿如意造型流畅，以金为主材，采用累丝、镶嵌等工艺，制作精巧异常。以松石和青金石嵌蝙蝠，仙鹤，瑞鹿，等题材，寓意松鹤延年，福寿长春。整件如意造型规矩，庄严肃穆，集捶揲、錾刻、镶嵌技艺于一身，用料华贵，工艺精美，装饰上匠心独具，充满富贵繁华气象，给人吉祥和悦之感，是乾隆朝崇尚仿古与注重吉祥易趣的审美取向完美结合的产物。
