|佛像以白玉雕成，玉质匀净莹润。脸型清丽，双眉高挑，杏眼高鼻，表情宁静。宽肩细腰，躯体挺直，体态匀称。手脚刻划细腻写实，上身着袈裟，左肩敷搭袈裟边角；下身着长裙，轻薄贴身，衣纹线条飘逸自然。结跏跌坐于双层俯仰莲瓣圆型台座上。身后衬椭圆形背光。玉佛像自古即为至宝，清人俞樾《春在堂诗编》有《玉佛歌》一首，诗云：“何幸一朝得此像，洵足奇迹增钱唐。曲园居士瞻礼讫，敬作长歌当短偈。与其摩挲金铜仙，不如赞叹白玉佛。”此白玉释迦牟尼像，法相庄严，比例协调，衣纹流畅，雕琢率真快意，刀工娴熟。其包浆静穆，呈相熟旧，诚为上品。
