拍品呈长方形，胎质坚实，釉色莹润。中间以仿木纹釉竖条分隔，左侧以淡绿釉彩为地，上书《朱子家训》句“...不易；半丝半缕，恒念物力...”及“...洁，既昏便息，关锁门户，必...”，右侧以透明白釉为地，粉彩绘荷塘丽景图，勾线细腻流畅，设色精细雅丽。通体纹饰精美，意蕴显著，且兼具教化之意，时代特征鲜明，与传世唐英个人定制器物纹饰风格极为相类，耐人寻味，可堪赏玩。拍品纹样画法及书法风格与北京故宫博物院藏清乾隆斗彩开光题诗缠枝莲粉彩花卉纹蝠耳瓶之腹部装饰相类，可资参阅。
