A pearlware plate with unusual blue painted figural design, late 18th century, depicting a chinoiserie figure carrying a basket, the notched rim with simple stylized foliate design, diameter 24.3cm (faint starcrack), together with a similar plate, painted in blue with a Long Eliza type figure, diameter 24cm.
