A late Victorian oak cased bracket clock with German eight day three train movement chiming quarters on eight gongs and striking hours on a large gong with pull repeat, the backplate stamped 'W&H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), the brass arched dial with chime/silent, pendulum regulation and chime selection subsidiary dials above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals framing a matt centre, all framed by cast and pierced gilt scroll spandrels, the case top carved with mask and foliate scrolls, above further foliate scrolls, figural columns and flowers, flanked by a pair of carved and pierced mask and scroll fret panels, on an inverted breakfront base and bracket feet, height 57cm (small piece of moulding missing), with pendulum and wind key, together with a carved oak wall bracket.
