A George V silver mounted part dressing table set, comprising a hand mirror, hair brush and two clothes brushes, each silver back engraved with a vase of flowers, scrolls and swags forming a vacant shield, hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1915/16/17. Together with a further silver mounted hand mirror, a silver-handled shoehorn and two similar hooks, plus an ivory shoe horn. Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches with heavier damage to some. Many surface dints and creases to the silver mounts.Both hand mirrors with heavier wear, the silver backs feel thin and flex when pushed. The single mirror is in a very poor state.Brushes are in a used condition. Damage to silver handles of the hooks and horns. Heavy rubbing to some hallmarks. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
