A 1920's silver mounted glass tray or stand, the rectangular form with star cut clear glass centre within engine-turned silver frame with concave sides and raised on four bun feet. Silver hallmarked Sanders & Mackenzie, Birmingham 1927. Measuring 12 (30.5cm) by 8 (20.3cm). Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. The silver frame with a few small nicks and bruises along edges and corners. The engine turned decoration with significant wear and rubbing causing loss of much of the detail to some areas. Some compression and knocks to feet but still stands firm.Stained wood base visible to the underside and brass corner mounts. Hallmarked only to the frame, these rubbed but legible. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
