无量寿佛，又称无量光佛，阿弥陀佛，是西方极乐世界的主佛，代表智慧，意思是光明无限，寿命无限，无量光觉，无量寿觉。归命于无量寿觉及无量光觉也。此像双手作禅定印，跏趺而坐，头饰宝冠，胸前饰璎珞，身披袈裟，下身袍服，绘以团花纹饰，画工严谨细腻，衣纹起伏飘逸，庄重而又不失秀美。此无量寿佛坐像，做工之精细，足现其器之美，流传至今，保存完好，故极其珍贵。
