A Chinese ink on paper calligraphy poem by Yu Youren and dedicated to Dawei. The calligraphy includes 1 seal and is mounted on a silk backing. Dimensions: 27 1/2 inches tall X 13 1/2 inches wide; 69.9 cm tall X 34.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Martinson in northern Minnesota. Mr. Martinson's grandparents Andrew and Anna Martinson went to China in 1903 and Mr. Andrew Martinson died in China in 1913; the couple's son, Mr. Harold Martinson, our collector's father, was born in China, as was Mr. Martinson himself in 1931.
