A Grand Tour bronze figurine of a 'snake goddess' in 17th-14th century BC style, with conical skirt hollow to the underside, girdled waist with tongue-shaped frontal panel, open-fronted blouse, right hand raised to the brow, left hand held flat on the midriff, hair plaited with tail extending to the waist. Cf. Alexiou, S. Guide to the Archaeological Museum of Heraclion, Athens, 1968, pl.6-7 for type. 242 grams, 12cm (4 3/4").
