款识：“大清光绪年制”六字双行楷书款 来源：北京市文物公司旧藏
敞口微侈，深弧腹，圈足。周身以青花为饰，口沿内绘两周弦纹，口沿外饰回纹，外腹和碗心以青花绘海八怪，海马、狮、羊、象、翼龙、龟、鱼等异兽鱼类奔逐于汹涌的波涛间，动感而神秘。底以青花书“大清光绪年制”六字双行楷书款。
“海八怪”亦称“海兽鱼涛”，始于明宣德朝，延续至清代仍有仿品。纵观整器，数只海中瑞兽或飞腾于空中，或穿浪而出，姿态各异，形态万千，气势逼人。此器纹饰布局繁杂，张弛有度，富有韵律感，为光绪官窑之佳作。本拍品造型比一般相同纹饰之海兽纹碗尺寸要大，存世少见；其次底落双圈光绪款识的海兽纹碗较为稀少，可见本拍品之珍罕。
