AN ANTIQUE BRASS AND CARVED WALNUT REGULATOR WALL CLOCK, POSSIBLY AUSTRIAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the scrolling acanthus and spade leaf topped molded crest above a frieze centering a lion's mask flanked by block pateræ and turned finials, over a molding trimmed cornice on a bead and disc banding, above a rectangular door centering an arched glass panel within Corinthian fluted pilasters, opening to a circular brass raised ring dial with Arabic hour numerals enclosing a foliate engraved recessed face with reticulated cut steel hands and triple key escapements, suspending steel rods with twisted brass rods mounted engraved disc pendulum and three similarly engraved brass cylindrical weights, over a tapering rectangular base centering an applied stylized butterfly and flanked by turned pendants.
