Seven textiles in lot. Largest with bullion embroidery and gold thread, the round one has bullion appliques with embroidered border, and a Chinese tapestry dating to the late Qing dynasty. Also includes a strip of a silk damask Japanese obi, a Victorian embroidered draw bag with silk lining, and a woven dresser doily. Dimensions: 73 inches tall X 48 cm wide; 185.4 cm tall X 121.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The silk velvet has been worn and shattered, the Chinese embroidery has holes on the backing. Provenance: From a collection in Kearneysville, West Virginia.
