A group of 12 Quimper mistral blue pottery pieces dating from the 19th century. Includes a pair of small plates featuring a man and woman in the well, a scalloped edged plate featuring a woman, a round plate featuring a woman, an octagonal bowl featuring a man, a lidded dish with a plate featuring a woman on the lid, a lidded soup tureen with handles, a bud vase featuring a woman , two cups with sauces featuring a man and a woman. All are signed ‘HB Quimper’ on the bottom. Dimensions: 8 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide; 20.3 cm tall X 21.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Scattered chipping and cracks present in all, the lidded dish and soup tureen show repairs. Provenance: From a multi-generational French-American family collection.
