A pair of 18th C, Chinese porcelain plates produced for export, both with scalloped edges, gilded highlights, & a coat of arms center: - A smaller oval-shaped dish with a unicorn (the Arms of Knott ) D: 7 1/2" (19 cm) x 5 7/8" (15 cm) - A circular dish with a faded lion & a red hand (possibly the arms of McAuley) D: 7 7/8" (20 cm) Provenance: the big plate is from Christie`s Sale TF 266 Lot # 118 according to the sticker, the small plate is from the collection of Elinor Gordon, Villanova, PA Condition: Both in good condition with pronounced wear to the lions on the circular plate. Condition: both in good condition, the big plate has few glaze flake to the rim
