STANDING BUDDHA Bronze cold gilt Thailand , around 1850 Dimensions: Height 30,5 cm Weight: 908 grams Standing Buddha on a multi-platform with beaded rim. The robes are elegant and decorated with various pattern, the shoes are pointed in the front. The face of the Buddha is round and fleshy with a delicate nose and downcast eyes. The ushnisha is topped by a conical finial. Both hands are raised in abhaya mudra, gesture of fearlessness and benevolence.
