Lorenzo Martini Priora di Ronta 1663" flanking a coat of arms with a tree between two rams rampant and three fleurs-de-lis above. h. 29", dia. 6-1/4" Notes: The Prioria di Ronta was a Tuscan priory of the 17th century; its prior "P. Lorenzo Martini" as identified here was almost certainly Fr. Laurent Martini, S.J. (1608-1681), who was ordained in 1630 and was a noted professor of grammar and rhetoric.
