An Empire /Charles X gilt bronze mantel clock, the dial signed Kinable Palais Royal No. 131, the case mounted with two figures representing Cupid and Psyche, he with wings plucking a lyre and she modelled seated on a chair holding her hands to her breast, flanking a superstructure with a torch and rose on the top, the structure with central white enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter ring , with black steel hands, signed Kinable Palais Royal No. 131, within an ornate façade with bands of roses to the bezel, torches and laurel leaves to the top and musical instruments flanked by swans to the base, the whole mounted on a rectangular stepped platform with an additional ornate façade featuring representations of Cupid and Psyche kneeling in an embrace, flanked by mouldings of billing doves with laurel wreaths, swags and flaming torches, on ball feet, the brass barrel movement with count wheel and bell strike and silk suspension pendulum, 54cm high the general overall gilding for this clock is good, but there are inconstancies to the colour, the dial is dirty and marked in places, the striking mechanism is working but is not set consistently to strike correctly on the hour and half hour,
