A Scottish freshwater pearl necklace, Cairncross composed of a single strand of graduated Scottish freshwater pearls, set throughout with ten faceted diamond beads, the clasp set with a central pearl in a border of round brilliant cut diamonds (Dimensions: Overall length: 55cm) (Overall length: 55cm) Footnote: This lot has been granted a license from Scottish Natural Heritage, and it contains fresh water pearls legally taken from the wild prior to 27 March 1991. Condition report: A very good example of its kind - it is unusual to find a Scottish river pearl necklace of this length and quality. In good overall condition, it has not seen an awful lot of wear. Pearls showing a blueish overtones, some pink tones. Luster and surfaces are all generally good. Pearls approx: 9.8mm - 3.68mm
