A WOOD NETSUKE OF A SHISHI ATTRIBUTED TO TOMOCHIKA Unsigned, attributed to Tomochika Japan, 19th century, Edo period (1615-1868) Depicting a Shishi with a slightly crazed expression, placing one paw firmly on a smooth ball in front of it. The bushy mane and tail are well-carved. Natural himotoshi. HEIGHT 4.1 cm Condition: Excellent condition with minor surface wear. Provenance: British collection.
