An elegant sample of silver spoon, made of an egg-shaped bowl attached to the long tapering handle by a curving hand, horizontal incised parallel lines embellishing the cylindrical staff of the shaft, a double-knobbed collar, shaped at the top like the head of a ram, forming the transition between the two sections of the handle. 45 grams, 17.5cm (7"). Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
