1st millennium BC. A bronze figure of a zebu with head raised, crescent horns above raised lozenge eyes, incised mouth and muzzle, skin-fold detailing to the neck; mounted on a custom-made stand. 1.9 kg total, 16.5cm width with stand (6 1/2"). Acquired on the London art market in 1963.
