重548g圆形，半圆钮，圆钮座，钮座外八乳钉间隔“君常宜官秩，葆子孙”铭文，其外两周弦纹圈带，内为短斜线纹，外为双线纹间隔珠点纹，显示出疏密有致的视角效果。主纹饰区以六枚带柿蒂纹乳座的小乳钉将主纹饰区隔成六等分，分别以线雕铸就青龙、玄武、朱雀、白虎和其它两只瑞兽，线条婉转流畅，刻画精细，装饰意味颇浓。近缘处铭文圈带一周为“桼言之始自纪，湅冶铜锡去其宰，辟去不阳宜古市，寿。”镜缘饰以锯齿纹及流云纹。东汉多乳瑞兽纹镜之中，七乳居多，六乳相对少见。此镜通体黑漆古，铸造精良，纹饰清晰而无一丝漶漫之处，为六乳镜中之佼佼者。此镜铭文书体为悬针篆，其庄重典雅的书法在铜镜铭文中可谓颇具特色。悬针篆顾名思义，笔画纤细，宛若悬挂的针，主要见于新朝王莽钱币，为中国古代钱币铭文的书写风格之一。
