题识：梅报早春，岁次丙子年冬月古黟桃源笑山人王鹤亭写意于昌南。

说明：这件梅报早春粉彩瓷板画，作于1996年冬。池塘内两只丹顶鹤矗立水中，或低头展翅，或回头而望；山石边数枝粉梅贯穿而出，多而不杂，映带有情，衬以“珠山八友”田鹤仙“梅花弄影”之法；塘边水草与远处淡笔而就之草丛交相呼应，早春生机盎然之景铺面而来。
简介：王鹤亭，陶瓷美术家，号桃源笑山人，安徽黟县人，瓷都名画家八虬之一，景德镇艺术瓷厂十家十老之一。自1934年起从事陶瓷艺术创作六十余年，专攻花鸟虫草，尤以画梅见长，兼绘人物。
