赵忠祥，1942年1月16日出生于河北省邢台市宁晋县，中央电视台《人与自然》主编、中央电视台主持人。1959年进入中央电视台的前身北京电视台。1979年随邓小平访美期间采访过美国总统卡特。1984年起先后主持过12次春节晚会。1981年，主持北京市中学生智力竞赛。1983年在中央台主持五四蒲公英青年智力竞。2010年7月与朱迅搭档再次主持《动物世界》和《人与自然》。赵忠祥主持的节目又一次受到了观众的热捧。赵忠祥晚年沉迷于汉学，并将大量精力投入到了旧体诗创作之中。据业内人士透露：至2010年秋，赵忠祥的诗词水平已经超过了中华诗词学会的多数专家。
