此件玉器以和田黑白色青花玉料雕琢而成，玉质细腻温润，白如冰雪，黑如凝墨，点点烟紫青花飘蕴其中，料色美观难得。主体半圆雕作一对骏马嬉戏玩耍姿态，马梭眼尖耳、长脸阔鼻，姿态有力，局部黑色青花料自然蕴藏于马身，宛如骏马身上斑纹。其中一只马背上可见趴有一只小猴，四肢细长，姿态灵巧；背面随型作纹雕琢装饰作山石仙草，巧妙避开原生瑕疵。器物纹饰寓意马上封侯、高官厚禄，整体造型雕琢传神，纹饰线条流畅高超，为兼具艺术价值与历史文化价值难得美品。
