此尊观音像通体施以粉彩装饰，设色柔丽典雅。观音菩萨呈自在坐姿，头发高高盘起，双目微闭，神情娴静安闲。衣纹流畅自然，纹饰细致灵动，精妙无双。其右手抚膝，左手持经卷，姿态优雅高贵。观音菩萨是观察世间民众声音的菩萨，具有无量的智慧和神通，大慈大悲，普救人间灾难，是宫廷及民间最为常见的佛教供养菩萨，然而由于造像的造型复杂，对细部要求高，成功之作甚少。此件佛像尺寸大，品相完美，当为名家高手所作。
