钤印：章士钊印、行严说明释文：（文略）右《看君秋演〈秋瑾传〉所作》。璧池三嫂夫人雅赏，章士钊。说明：上款“璧池”即冯壁池（1916-2009），广东顺德人，1946年定居香港后拜张大千为师。冯壁池第一任丈夫吴季玉为于右任好友，常为于右任在海峡两岸传递家书，1961年，于右任致函吴季玉，对无法为留在大陆的妻子庆贺八十大寿深感遗憾，吴氏将此札给赴港探亲的章士钊阅看，章返京后告知周恩来，于右任在大陆的亲人随即为其夫人举办寿宴，并将照片托吴季玉转致于右任。京剧《秋瑾传》系1958年由王雁根据夏衍同名话剧改编，并于次年公演，张君秋饰演秋瑾。
