Das war keineswegs eine lodernde Leidenschaft, sondern eine glückliche Zusammenführung zweier genialer Techniker. Den Daimler-Stern mit dem Lorbeerkranz von Benz zu verbinden, sollte noch einige Jahre dauern, aber 1926 war es vollbracht. 1927 wurde das Logo noch farbiger und 1929 präsentierte man erstmals das noch heute aktuelle Logo. 1999 entschied die Marketing Abteilung von Mercedes-Benz, dass man anstelle der Mondphasenscheibe auch die Entwicklung des Mercedes-Logos darstellen könnte. So wurde der Stern-Timer geboren. Von diesem Chronographen existieren lediglich 200 Stück weltweit. It was in no way a burning passion, but rather a happy meeting of two genious technicians. Combining the Daimler-star with the laurel wreath of Benz was still several years away, but in 1926 it was done. 1927 the logo became even more colourful and in 1929 the logo that is used to this day was presented. In 1999 the marketing department of Mercedes-Benz decided, that instead of displaying the lunar phase that disc could be used to show the development of the Mercedes-Logos. In this way the star-timer was born. Of this Chronograph there exist only 200 units worldwide.
