钤印：飞（白文）款识：戊辰初秋，作于歇浦之西，海南罗飞父。说明释文：不吞骄兔，不剥豺狐，罗汉面前，谁称汝山中雄父。作者简介：符罗飞（1896-1971），原名福，广东省文昌县人。历届全国文代会代表，中国美协理事，美协广东分会副主席，广州市政协委员。1925年毕业于上海美术专科学校西画系。1930年考入意大利那不勒斯皇家美术大学研究院绘画系，深得该院卡罗·西维埃罗和格鲁赛·卡兹罗等名画家的赏识和指授，画艺大进。曾先后在意大利、法国、英国、奥地利举办展览。1935年应邀参加威尼斯国际艺术赛会并获奖，1938年回国。回国后投入“新文化运动”，曾与黄新波等人组织“人间画会”。
