English 18 C Jackfield Teapot enameled with Chinoiserie flowers in pastel colors, now with chain affixed from cover finial to handle ; together with an antique 5 petal Lacquer Teapot Tray with pearl inlay. Teapot with wear and flakes to enamels, cover and spout cracked and re-stuck with over-paint; lacquer tray with wear under new clear coating. Length of teapot from handle to spout 6 3/4 inches (17 cm.). Diameter of lacquer plate 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.). PROVENANCE: Teapot with label to base, "Vera Elkind Collection."
