Two Carved Agate Articles19TH CENTURYthe first a covered tea pot, the ovoid body carved with two cartouches enclosing crane and lingzhi, flowering prunus trees, the upright side spout above a dragon-head suspending a loose ring, all between two bands of overlapping leaves; the second a tripod incense burner, of compressed form, set with a pair of dragon-head handles and loose rings, the domed cover surmounted by a fu lion finial, raised on a fitted hardwood stand. Taller: height 5 in., 13 cm.
