黃炎培 書畫立軸 A Chinese set of 2 fans with a calligraphy all in ink on paper and by Huang Yanpei, dedicated to Junlu. The calligraphy is on ink on paper, 1 fan is an ink calligraphy with 2 seals, while the other fan is painted with orchids with 2 seals. All are mounted on a paper backing with dowels.
Dimensions are: each fan measures 10 inches tall X 20 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Minor staining, overall good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Hsu in Northern California. Mr. Hsu's father, Hsu Binru, was a newspaper reporter and worked in the Commercial Press.
