The central large panel embroidered with three sages and a small boy, a dedication inscription above, all within a border with auspicious symbols, the two side panels with well wishing calligraphy, a square panel with a bat above, 227 x 105cm, 146 x 41cm. (3)

Provenance: given to Mr and Mrs A M Goutes as a reward for his service as the Secretary General of Cholon, modern day Ho Chi Minh.
