徐世昌（1855年—1939年6月6日），字卜五，号菊人，又号弢斋、东海、涛斋，晚号水竹村人、石门山人、东海居士。直隶（今河北）天津人。其曾祖父、祖父在河南为官居，出生于河南省卫辉府（今卫辉市）府城曹营街寓所。徐世昌早年中举人，后中进士。工于山水松竹，如《石门山临图帖》等。一生编书、刻书30余种，如《清儒学案》、《退耕堂集》、《水竹村人集》等。被后人称为“文治总统”。
